TheFactory DefSec I

TheFactory Norway Fund I was established to invest in innovative, knowledge-based companies with strong teams, scalable business models and international growth potential.

Built on TheFactory’s experience from working closely with hundreds of Nordic startups, the fund invests across selected technology sectors including fintech, proptech, retailtech and impact. Our approach combines early access to promising companies with active ownership and long-term support as they develop and scale.

The fund has built a diversified portfolio of technology companies at different stages of development. With the investment period completed, our focus is now on supporting the existing portfolio, follow-on opportunities and creating long-term shareholder value.

From ecosystem to investment

TheFactory Norway Fund I was created on the back of TheFactory’s experience as one of Norway’s pioneering startup and accelerator environments.

Our position in the Nordic startup ecosystem has given us access to a broad pipeline of founders and investment opportunities. Companies are evaluated based on the quality of the team, market opportunity, scalability, technology and potential for international growth.

The fund takes an active approach to ownership, working closely with founders and management teams while leveraging TheFactory’s broader network of investors, industry partners and experienced entrepreneurs.
